A North Ogden Divide
If you didn't notice, we live-streamed the 3rd Ogden Mayoral Debate at Marquardt Park last week (You can watch it here on our YouTube channel). We decided to offer a quick recap and share some of our impressions. We also chat with Steffanie Casey, a former North Ogden City Council candidate and community member who has had more than her fair share of run-ins with North Ogden leadership over the Barker Amphitheater (right across the street from her home) and the new shiny project: A wading pool/retaining pond. Plus, a little Pinkies Up, Thumbs Down and Upcoming Events.

Showdown in O-Town Part III: Ogden Mayoral Debate
We had such a fun time live streaming the last Ogden Mayoral Debate, we thought we'd do it again, this time with the full JCP crew on hand to help. If you missed it, we've got the video right here for you from our YouTube channel (You should also subscribe over there)
Election Day is creeping up quickly (It's November 5th this year), so make sure to get in contact with the candidates and ask them all the questions on your mind if you live in Ogden or any other city in Weber county.
Reach out to the candidates in your city running for Mayor or City Council and grill them. Make them earn your vote.
North Ogden's Pond Song and Other Greatest Hits
When we wanted to learn more about Barker Amphitheater and a newly-proposed wading pool/retaining pond, friend of the pod Meg Sanders suggested we reach out to Steffanie Casey to get the low-down. And, who are we to tell Meg, "No"?
Below is a rendering of what the pond would like like, along with a map to show where it would be located:
